We didn’t think we could love the RAV4 anymore than we already do, but Toyota proved us wrong at this year’s New York International Auto Show. The 2019 model got a makeover and we must say we’re loving it and can’t wait for it to hit the lot here at Larry H. Miller Toyota Murray all thanks to these three updates.

With a lower and wider stance, robust shoulders, available 19-inch wheels, and a longer wheelbase, it is refined and ready to take on all your adventures. Speaking of which, it now exhibits shorter front and rear overhangs so that it doesn’t have to stick to the pavement.
2. Toyota fine-tuned the RAV4’s driving performance so that you’ll be able to drive it with confidence, including through tough road and weather conditions. In fact, the first ever Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive with Rear Driveline Disconnect will help you steer where intended even in rough conditions.
With the ability to disconnect from the need for all-wheel drive, the SUV will reduce energy loss, cut down on rotational vibration, and improve fuel efficiency—all leading to a smoother ride for you and all your passengers.

This all-new SUV will be complete with the next generation of Toyota Safety Sense, which is part of the company’s goal to move one step closer towards its ultimate goal of zero casualties from traffic accidents. From being able to detect a preceding vehicle or pedestrian and warn you and help apply the brakes to avoid a collision to alerting you if you start to veer out of a lane, there are many features added to take safety to the next level. The coolest innovation might just be the Road Sign Assist that’ll be able to identify certain signs—stop, yield, do not enter, and speed limit signs—to help keep your adventure running smoothly.
