One of the biggest events of this month occurred on October 21, 2015— the day that Marty and Doc travel to in Back to the Future Part II. For a few days, the entire internet bustled with talks of self-lacing shoes and hover boards, and many people re-watched the classic film franchise to commemorate the occasion.

For Toyota, however, it wasn’t enough to talk about Back to the Future day. Instead, they brought the movie to life. Film buffs will have already identified the custom 2016 Toyota Tacoma, which is based on the dream truck that Marty drives in the original Back to the Future. To celebrate the occasion, Toyota created an updated version, featuring a black paint job, and some throwback KC HiLite driving lamps. The truck also includes TRD wheels, and custom badging that ties it to the movie.

Those who were teenagers in 1985 are surely drooling over this futuristic concept car, and likely today’s teenagers as well. And while we’re unfortunately not going to have one in-stock at Larry H. Miller Toyota Murray anytime soon, that doesn’t mean you can’t get your fix online; to see every possible detail of this incredible Tacoma, visit the Toyota USA Press Room.
